Singapore Banks - Final Review (Part 2)

Interest Income - Regional loan demand still strong

Net Interest Income grew 4%-5% y-o-y in 2013, as strong double digit loans growth offset further NIMs compression – a further 8 to 15bp fall from a year ago. NIMs appeared to be finding support at current levels, with the first q-o-q rise in NIMAs registered in 4Q13 for all three banks.
